For You
Your smiling face beams radiance;
you encourage and inspire;
your light shines through your words;
you always give of yourself freely,
and though we may seem like
just faces on a computer screen -
never fully knowing one another
in our busy day-to-day lives -
we catch glimpses of our souls
and share our hearts, I believe,
when we share our poetry…
you are a gifted writer, weaver of words,
you are one of the poets who inspired me to write
free verse, taking me out of my comfort zone.
You see the beauty in the world
That same beauty is within you.
