For the Children
They want to kill our children
And burn our houses to the ground
All in the name of some demon god
Who tell them their cause is sound.
They shoot planes down with their missiles
And watch innocent lives burn up in flames
Then the cowards run and hide
But God remembers all their names.
One day they will stand before him
And give an account for all their crimes
There will be a hell that will await them
Much worse than any prison time.
We were created to love each other
And never bring harm to another soul
And help others in their time of need
Then our world won't lose control
If hate and ignorance flourish
Soon our world will melt away
So lets just keep our differences to ourselves
And watch our children play.
