For Our Own Good
The messenger must be concerned with some aspect of your welfare (or mine) to come forward in such a deliberate way. But how that message is delivered-and how it is received-can either alienate or affirm. We long for peace on earth but sometimes fail to realize that it must begin in our own hearts, where each of us is vulnerable. I we consider ourselves bearers of the truth that must be said, may we do so with a kindness that tempers truth. And we are being told something “for our own good” may we translate the message through God’s love.
