Well said David, how can we criticise other cultures on how they treat their women if we don't set a good example of equality. Hope you're keeping well, just back from travelling again in the uk. Tom

I’d love to see change were all religion treat women as equals? yes women have equal rights in most western democracies, just not within the church, what is man so afraid of, myself I don’t want to be part of a a patriarchal organisation that is built on inequality, Hey! hope the weather was good wherever you went, it’s still raining over here lol! Cheers David

The never-ending male line, "So let’s weave a tapestry, diverse and bright, Where love is the thread that binds us tight. EQUALITY, our compass, our guiding star, Let it shine from within, near and far." The last part of the uplifting tag!

Ha you speak the truth Anaya, but another truth is most religions are designed as patriarchies, but I don’t see many pointing out that fact, the elephant (which is matriarchal) in nature, is definitely in the room, but constantly ignored and swept aside, if equality for women is to be established and recognised worldwide, then religion must fundamentally look at itself and change their patriarchal ways, cheers David
