You gave me hope and made me live the dream that one day I would taste sweet victory You made the raging sea much like a stream and now the past is merely history You were a guide that helped me to believe that in my heart lay courage to be strong My worry and my strife you did relieve and taught me what was right from what was wrong You have a heart that’s made of purest gold that will not change its color or its hue A heart that surely love cannot withhold and such a heart will always dwell in you I’ve come to see in you an angel dear My life is sweeter now because you’re near Eileen Manassian

Thanks, Nette. Sometimes we just have to dwell on the beauty. This was actually written for my supervisor who was of great help to me during my MA thesis writing and defense. She was amazing. I just chose a nice photo for the poem, but this is the backstory.
