Footprints That Will Never Show

You were so alone way over there, Brown eyes so big with that beautiful black hair, Face looking down, straight at the ground, While your spirit was in the lost and found. When we finally found you and you were already gone, No fairy tail ending just a sad love song. I read your writings again laying in that bed, That one used to lay down to rest your weary head. You should be in that bed right now, You should be here confident, happy and proud. Dialing your number should be my daily routine, You should be carefree, independent and truly serene. Soon it will be coming up to a long five years, Slowly the pain lessened and a few less tears, But you'll always be nothing short of my angel, It still really hurts, but it's s lot less painful. I've heard people always come and people always go, and they leave footprints that may never show.
