Fool's Gold Sold
A new gang leader gave them the directions to see if they would follow through
He even gave them one vital clue
He promised them a big cut once the mission was complete
“Jan” as they called him was no dead beat
He was a master crook, as devious as hell
Few who knew him were alive to tell
The three disappeared as soon as he left
He was a very smart man, very adept
They drove for days to get to the abandoned old mine
They searched the area thoroughly and found sparkling yellow crystals with a golden shine
As darkness fell, they brought torches and shovels and loaded it onto their trucks
Time to make the big bucks
They found a buyer that paid them in cash
When they returned the FBI pounced and arrested them all
The buyer had not lost any time in making the call
With millions they had stolen in the past, the leader and his friend disappeared into thin air
For fool’s gold they had aided the pair
