Fool's Gold
a saraband
Looking for someone you can blame?
Deny responsibility,
Joke about your anger and shame.
Bargain with the angst, make a deal
just ignore the despair you feel.
Imagine you are self-controlled.
Lying to yourself is fool’s gold.
