Food For the Soul

The music's insistent beat flows through the night air filling my heart up with joy setting my feet tap tapping The drummer sets the beat the guitars keeping in time hauntingly the notes soar out the world for a moment paused Listening, uplifted , knowing history is being made tonight as the fiddler sweeps his bow across the strings so magically As the last notes fade away the audience goes totally wild encore by the dozen they want so on the music soars and flows ~ ~ ~ ~ ~

Shadow, the energy is uplifting creating the imagery of music throughout. I love the many acoustical sounds and felt the fiddles and banjos, possibly Mumford and Sons making the crowd go wild... :)

Wow...As a hopless music junkie I am VERY curious as to the music genre you are referring to in this beautiful verse!...I live in south Louisianne and love Cajun and Zydeco...Jo-El Sonnier is my favorite...Also a fan of Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks AND the fiddle playing at the end of 'Baba O'Riley' by the Who among many others too numerous to mention here (Okay, I will stop rambling now) - Tim
