Flying

Flying There are many times when I long so, for the days, when, in my black Bird, I Thundered down highways. Flying over many, many miles across this vast land. Touching places I’ll never see again – this wandering man. I am only able to reach out to the past, in my dreams, never again to experience that reality, I know it seems a life that was empty, and yet full – held it in my hand that now, – in midair, empty forever – will have to stand B. Road trips in a T-Bird; that's what America was made for. I'd have to flip a coin between your 'bird and a 65 Mustang convertible, given the chance.... Still, a wistful, lovely piece, and never forget that, unlike me, you've been there and done it, and the memory will ride on into the sunset. Where's my Ray-Bans? :)

Good morning Viv Wigley : Thank you for stopping by Viv and thank you for “ Still, a wistful, lovely piece, and never forget that, unlike me, you've been there and done it, and the memory will ride on into the sunset. ” the lovely comments. “ I'd have to flip a coin between your 'bird ( 1966 convertible, ) and a 65 Mustang convertible, given the chance.... ” If I were to guess ?, I would say that you once enjoyed a Mustang and as for “ given the chance....”, “ unlike me, ” my Dear. No, you must take the opportunity !!!

At seventy one, I took a road trip across Canada, although not in a T Bird convertible, unfortunately, it was in a Chrysler Pacifica and all the other road trips over the past eight years were done in a Ford Probe, alone, except twice - with ex-lovers . Yes, Viv, “ you've been there and done it, “ I have ” and the memory will ride on into the sunset. ” and they do my Dear, as numerous letters, cards and hundreds of three and a half by five pictorial representations can attest . Take good care Viv, as you ride the highways into adventures, journeys that free the soul, a spirit in flight . Bill ( B. J. “A” 2 ) .

“ You in your Thunderbird, ”, yes my Dear, top down, sun riding upon the strands of my long, black, flowing hair, sun dancing upon my birthday suit as I put on one hundred thousand miles in two years crisscrossing this continent from Ontario to Florida, to Mexico city, to California, to British Columbia, back to Ontario back to B.C., California, back to Ontario, on to Illinois, the bad lands, the canyons California and finally to settle here in British Columbia ( December 1974 to August 1977 ). I guess “ the classic wanderlust... ” would be most apropos, Kim Patrice .

Ah yes Kim Patrice, it is such a “ Bittersweet nostalgia... ” but I must tell you that the journeys, the adventures have not ended yet. Driven back and forth across Canada five time - once coast to coast, the rest as far as Ontario and a couple times to Quebec city, flew twice. Anyway my Dear, not dead yet . Back at you “ All the best, ” Kim Patrice . B. J. “A ” 2 ( Bill . )
