Fly Away

We all get that sensation Sometimes everyday What if I could drop Everything and fly away I know I've been one To yell out and say I'm done with it all Wish I can fly away To pressure is rough I'd like to keep it at bay But it's getting annoying Can I just fly away It's breaking me down Stress is trying to slay My will power and cut My wings to fly away I'm not the only one Where these feelings stay Also like me wishing They too could fly away But hope is all it is No matter how much you pray For the winds to spread Your wings to fly away So we sit and endure The madness like a stray To thought at least nice To go and fly away Written 3-11-19
