I note that nowadays many folk being interiviewed on TV/radio start off with 'absolutely'. And then subsequent sentences start with 'so'. Methinks, this gives 'em space to think.

I'd say you're probably right about that, Tony. I notice the contestants on Jeopardy always begin their tale with "so," SO I suspect their told to do that by the producers or whomever.

Simplicity should be the word every day, Tom. I read some poems and wonder what the writer is talking about. Give me a simple story, well told.
