Flourishment

They say a desert is dry and lifeless A barren land stagnant lacking beauty Then from the heavens comes a falling snow I stand among rocks... the soil of earth Sense a rhythmic breathing at my feet Watch the snow float through a tranquil sky I hold out each hand... feel the liquid ice The beauty herein the beauty here-out For it is not dry For it is not lifeless You see… a snowfall in the desert is flourishment.
