Flightless
I'm losing control tonight
I've decided to search for something else
I will close my eyes for my mind to take flight
And buy time for moments it'll sell
I can see her eyes if I wanted to
But I am not to hold her like I know
To almost feel her warmth like I knew
Yet illusion is all the mind only to show
And I saw my body as myself departs
Willing to the skies as I climb as I fly
A sensation painful even to the lifeless heart
Fiercely overwhelming myself with oceans rendering by
And finally I am there, not anywhere
A some place she belong, I have never been
No longer do I see her with so much dare
Is there love... for when mind and body doesn't seem?
I do not return to my body tonight
Simply raining tears upon it I will do
There is to be no more place I can find to hide
Because tonight... I have decided to miss you
