First Love

FIRST LOVE Our glances adored each other as we chanced to meet. First love at first sight just in teen. He never spoke to me. I got no opportunity to interact. On my study leave of six months, I watched him from far balcony. We wandered in the park keeping distance. Neither he nor I opened mouth. Yet our silent world was romantic. Seed of love was sowed and sprouted in mind. Hard root pierced heart in pain and pleasure. Stem of emotion spread pair of passionate leaves. On last eve of my departure I was forlorn to loiter in the park on dusty dusk He was alone to walk on side-road. On sudden boost with thrashing momentum he rushed and stood close to me. I was not shy but looked direct at his eyes with ardent ardor and intense expectation. He could not utter a single syllable. 10/06/16 First Love Contest by Frank Herrera judged on 10/07/16 Second place Second place only Contest III by Laura Loo

A lovely story, Anisha. First loves are never forgotten. I love the part where you keep your virtue pure. In this country that relationship would be a teenage pregnancy.
