First Kiss

Hands still sweaty from clinging together on that long walk from our school, to your door, our first walk We stand outside your apartment building, hoping our friends won't stare too closely at us Like judges in ice dancing, waiting for us to spin and land awkwardly Holding up their cards tomorrow, for all to see David and Ellen: 8.5 / 7.4 / 7.1 Humiliation We press together, lips firmly locked, but grinding, as we know kisses to be from watching tv Our teeth, almost touch, our tongues, kept safely where they belong Our hands, sweating anew from the pressure and excitement of the moment Judges, do we have your scores? David and Ellen: 10.0 / 10.0 / 10.0 Perfect

Thanks Andrea, glad you weren't disappointed! There are some things that never leave you and memories of love, thankfully are one.

i just had to see this one from the title and I was NOT disappointed. Awesome to hear about your first kiss. Mine was with an "older" guy when I was 14 (well that was the first one that counted, and nothing can take its place. there is nothing like that first time that it's GOOD)
