First Kiss
That day when clouds curtained the brightness of hot summer's day,
he came to meet me in pleasant white and gray.
His perfume announced his arrival
All my vital tasks at once seemed trivial
I ran towards the door to welcome my king
He stretched his arms and wrapped me into him.
He gifted me the jasmines of his smiles
I wreathed him with lillies of my love.
His eyes hugged mine and he held me tight
Our fingers coupled and my heart took a flight
He drove himself closer
My heart raced faster
His breath swayed on my skin with all the grace
His lips touched the rose petals of my face.
That day when my life tasted its first kiss,
the waves in the sea rose high
to wet the clouds in the sky
He is my Aladdin and I'm his Jasmine
We rubbed the lamp of love and there emerged the box of bliss.
