Fire In the Rain

Fire In The Rain Flickering torch upon windowsill In turbulent air whirls the windmill Red heats the beads of mornings kiss Electrified volt of Terra’s abyss Illuminating glass separates the elements Neither shall embrace in remembrance. Ticks of time resonate the patter of drops Heard as I gaze past the glistening treetops Everlasting Earth, water, air and fire Reclaiming each realm and to each their desire. Aimlessly I ponder by candlelight Inner most thoughts ends this quite spring night Now I blow out my candles flame…and smile.

Much of my work can fall under multiple forms. I tend to think of most under the Rhyme heading. If I was to look closer most would be Sonnets. Acrostic form on this one was a requirement by Brian, hence the combination of the two. I see by your list of work that you are far more learned on the specifics on which form is which. That is something I envy. Many thanks.
