Fire

His whole life is fire Burnt wood was his hair His eyes were charcoal black Smoke curled out of his lips Burns ran down his back His blood was flame red Ashes colored his skin Just like embers in the night He glowed from within He was warm to the touch His words burnt my soul He melted all who came near But without him, I was cold I should have known Not to buy into his games He was a match, And my life went up in flames
