Fire

Fire the burning fire left carnage throughout your heart yet you did not fear the end of the tunnel like a righteous goddess you walked in the flames fanning them in my direction so that i might burn for you always wanted me to die by your hands when love bred the deepest hate and beneath the same affectionate moon you once kissed me you would now stab me in the back with a knife but cutting me to shreds won't cut the history we have just as it cannot stop me from loving you til the end i wanted this love to see us through the fire but you wanted it to burn to the ground but the end of all of this will spawn another beginning and i know this even as i watch you slowly burn laying on the side of the road in a ruined mess the wounds are nothing i cant handle because watching you burn is far harder to handle knowing i cant do a damn thing to stop it the chains of fate led us to this ultimate moment just as they once led us to holding hands death plays a little white piano next to your burning body the final notes of your life are already passing this isnt how it should have been because i should perish not you oh not you when i loved you so deeply yet as much as i loved you you surely did begin to hate me a mere trifle in your world full of play things so no matter how i wish to get to my feet and douse your flames i can but only watch them devour your tender form the burning fire left carnage throughout your heart yet you did not fear the end of the tunnel

"death plays a little white piano next to your burning body..." love this. I can see it all so clearly. Funny how the things we loved about someone in the beginning...are the very things we end up resenting in the end. No matter how many times you are warned...you still head into a fiery flames...knowing you will end up getting burned in the end...I love this as I can relate to it so well...
