Fingers Be Still
Reading the poems is thrilling, if you will
eyes drop to comment poets raise their quill
Arguments ensue rampant the ink is splashed
on a proud poet whose dreams are soon dashed
Take heed to notice there's none famous here
only boast and brag with intent to bend ear
you can never take back things that you've said
try saying it nicely thus eliminate sheer dread
Oh how we mock in the name of who's right?
divisions ensue thus prompting a fight
It's now become humorous to read the text
we'll wait for tomorrow to see if YOU'RE next!
