Sara, what I can remember about my grandma is, her grating coconut to cook the different meals that was soooo delicious...wish she was still alive so I could buy her a blender, she was so sweet...God rest her soul. My poem, "I Waited", is actually about my life, sad but true. Thanks for reading and commenting. One love. Joy Wells

Sad and true. I gratefully remember my mother in law enjoing all the cooking in the home in her eighties. And my mother years ago. And now my wife..:! Jag

This is quite the brilliant write my friend! I love how you ended the poem with the, "cooking families meals" I'm sure you wouldn't have it any other way! My grandmother used to enjoy cooking for the whole family when she was alive! What a glorious piece Sara, I really enjoyed it! Great Work!!
