Listen to poem:
How can I get past this? Break the habit, smiling in your direction. It's passed those eyes buried deep, retrace those steps. Can you allow yourself to revert back? Only within the mind, continue with tomorrow. ...Tomorrow, But for now, repaint those shadows You once left behind. Again, downstairs is loud, Re-join my world in need of company. You have center stage, let escape the troubles. Time for me has been unearthed, Hide under the covers, Blocking out the world, talk to me, let's create. Let's set the play, who shall rescue who? Despairingly quietly, Outside not to far from the door, running out of excuses. My words shall fall on deaf ears, So I'll scream my findings to you. They never did make sense. You're my new armor to fight against The monsters that lurk under the bed. So please, my new friend, go with the flow As I am getting pulled from pillow to post, As my life within life repeats life.
