Finding Love

Love has been kind. Love has been mine. Love has lost and Love has gained. Love has been joy, oh but love has been so much pain. Time and time again love has tried to win. Tried to drain me and even tried to restrain me. All the while I cried and grew and I never even knew, Till love came and showed me you. It showed me the right and the wrong, showed me how to sing a new song. Showed me how to love again. Showed me how to make love my friend. To call it my own, something I was never shown. Love came and showed me its heart beating and feeling never being apart. A part from me, apart from us, apart from the Father of whom I know I can trust. Love showed me an image of a woman lost in the world. I tried to call out to her To reach for her To help her find her way, But in the fog of life she did fade. I called out to her with a loud voice, When she turned to answer, I was amazed that the love I found was in my own face.
