Finding Elsewhere

I've got time So I'm walking down a newly discovered tree lined street The dog delighted, I don't know where I am but I can retrace my steps As many birds as I've ever heard are singing Some machinery somewhere attempts to disturb the peace but fails If I time my steps to the forget me nots they tap out a tune It made no sense to forget to breathe earlier, but I didn't have time then It feels like I'm elsewhere Things are old and neat Except this lamppost - it avoids light pollution Perhaps to hide this place I'm compelled to step on the cobbles but don't I'm at the end of street I know where I am There is traffic but not bird song The dog is still delighted
