Fill It With Light

Build me a home, build it just right Offer me views, fill it with light A strong foundation that will hold its weight Walls and a ceiling that rise to the sky I know you can do it please won't you try Rooms expansive now that would be so great A kitchen cabinet to hold every plate Yes a big oven to make apple pie Friends will come visit our home will be a retreat The front door left wide open to welcome each guest I am sure it will happen if only you will say yes! For Laura Loo's contest. So sorry Laura for the loss of your Grandma. She has kind eyes.

Oh mate, I have only just this week been granted a mortgage so that we can start the build on our house (not by me, but the builder has been engaged). So this piece at this time has a bit of sentimental value for me, a fav for sure. Hopefully our house comes out as grand as yours.

Oh, Richard. I REALLY like this one. It flowed so well, I did not even think of it being that one contest with the different forms! Great job.

I can see this along with the house you are building, wide open spaces that let your light shine out and the world to shine in. hugs.

The right home with the right 'light'; that is one sure way to turn a house into a home, Richard. [this reminds me of a certain house that has been in recent construction:)] Regards // paul

I'm sure you will. If the light that enters is friends and family whatever home you build will feel like a mansion.
