Fighting Darkness

Sometimes shadows are overwhelming In darkness we can find our strength In darkness we are never alone. This helps me through the darkest times. Knowing I am not alone. Jesus is holding my hand and beside me. The Holy Spirit fills me with Gods truth. Though sometimes the darkness tries hard to win. It sends my mind lies. Lies that say, “Why try? Is it worth it? Just give up?” Then Jesus reminds me his grace is sufficient enough as is his mercy.
