Fight To the End
Struggling for air,
Hiding the pain,
Fighting to stay awake,
They need me here,
I can't give in,
Not now not here,
I have to keep going,
It is only fair.
Just one more inning,
How hard can it be?
I need to relax,
Get some air.
I hope they are prepared.
With the crack of the bat I was on my way,
I can't breathe,
I can't see,
Will someone yell?
Help me out please.
Around the bases I went,
Gasping for air.
That was it,
The game was over.
Down I went,
I was pleased,
I fought to the end.
