I hope you played both songs on a loop all day for both spirits! I read somewhere: "These bright summer days present a world starker than fall's greyest hours"

Found one more classic, Rico. "Hard Hearted Hanna The Vamp Of Savannah" a sadistic "vamp" or femme fatale from Savannah, Georgia 1924

It was written back in the day when African slave girls were referred to as, "Dinah". Aloha!

Dinah originates in Genesis 34, but back in the 1830s, an Englishman (J.H. Cave) felt compelled to write about the lip service tendered by a kitchen maid. Cave's verses were sanitised and are now most familiar as verses in the classic American folksong, "I've Been Working on the Railroad" Aloha!

Ditto what Connie said...Appealing as all get-out, Rico. I hope your father had as wonderful a sense of humor as do you.

Like Elvis Presley, my father died on 16.VIII. "Dinah won't you blow my horn" was like his theme song, but they declined to play it at his funeral. I suggested Presley's, "How I love to feel her organs, in the chapel in the moonlight", but they declined to play that, as well. At least they refrained from planting him in the Missionary Position!
