Feline Troubles
I lay myself flat.
I am a cat.
I've nibbled a rat's ear.
Today and yesteryear.
It tasted dank.
But smelled delicious.
I will check the cup last drank.
As well as the human’s dishes.
He asks me to leave the kitchen.
But I just slowly curl in my favorite position.
He wants me to show him affection.
But I have no such intention.
For I no longer want to be your supposed slave.
Want you no longer as a delusional master.
I heard you speak of me to shave.
But you can not have my fur of alabaster.
I am not your cat.
And that is that.
