Feeling Blue

Watching death daily, is like watching for the black messy tar/ to come off your car/ not knowing/ you are driving on it/ the tears in your eyes /pours out/ like a bucket of well water/ your heart/ is racing like / like the horses in the Kentucky Derby/ the souls/ are like muddy water/ where is the hope/ can I cope/ watching death/ daily/ and I didn't /see this/ one coming/ ©Valerie Jean Grimes
