'feel What I Feel'

The night stretches out in front of me Thoughts floating between loneliness and contentment Sometimes I like being in my own space Other times I yearn for the comfort of being with you Like tonight The noise of the hands of time Moving swiftly So loud that it chased my sleep away Wish I could talk to you Make you feel the love I feel Whenever you hold me Make you feel the love I feel Whenever you talk to me to make you understand to make you feel That underneath all my mulishness the stratum of independence is a heart that beats Only for you ©154530092013

Beautifully written Wilma. I identify--- always striving for independence and wanting more of my 'own space', but ultimately we do need a soul mate.
