February 12, Again
February 12, again
Must you, must you,
hotter than fire,
seek your prey.
Sun do not dare arise
nor collect your praise
for stardom.
You hid you curative warmth,
shrouded her instead
in ironic cimmerian way.
Turned to torrent,
you were but the eye
a momentary flash,
as she limply lay
Please rain today.
Please rain today.
