Fear
eyes wide open
robbed of sleep again
demons knocking
wont let them in
chest feels tight
hard to breathe
paralyzed by fear
the nightmare leaves
soaked in sweat
yet shivering
spiders crawl
beneath my skin
my hearts racing
my mind's pacing
back and forth
the strain I'm facing
the life I'm gracing
the time I'm wasting
looking for the door
searching for the key
drowning all that is
deep inside of me
what to do
where to turn
inside it festers
stings and burns
seek to keep
my mind asleep
mask the tears
I know I'll weep
chase the rain
endulge the sun
I shall not yet
come undone
