Father's Day From His Son

The Lighthouse A lighthouse stands and calls to me, the lonely ship out to sea. You stand there as a thimble proud, by night like a candle, and by day like a cloud. To some they see our biblical reference, while others you are only a mason’s magnificence. But either we temporal or spiritual be, how good to know I am with you, and you are with me. As I call with my voice… “I am here!” “I am here!” You reply with your torch “You are there!” “You are there!” “You are there!” “You are there!” “You are there!” “You are there!” By, Martin Braun 6/11/2020

Love the reference of your father being the light and the torch of your life. Nice poem. My father has been gone some 25 years and I still miss his guidance and words of wisdom.
