Fathers

Never look him in the eye He is still your father Your quietness won't kill Fear if you need to Let tears your eyes fill When he beats harder If mum does and he does not buy Let him know not this too. I regret the day Stood I against him For a right I was sure Mum was so grieved Oh! To prevent a curse she did pray I sang many a hymn A team to beg to cure For the how I behaved Learnt now, my lesson My father is my father And in person I know I'll be a better father.
