Fate Permitting

As I set my eyes upon you, I was solely mezmorized, Could the women of my dreams, By chance, have now materialized? The universe permitting, Our paths will surely cross again, As I set out into the sunrise, On my mind your being has been. The time we got to spend together, Shortlived it may have been, Has set my soul on fire, Although it's not yet reached its end. Since the day I left your side, Your essence hasn't left my mind We'll reconnect at some point, For it is only a matter of time. Stay strong my earthly angel, I wish you nothing but the best, If fate permits our next embrace, Could be a sunset in the west! For Shannon!
