Fate

I tested fate one time to many And in my haste forgot to run She wrapped her frigid tentacles Around me and tossed me towards the sun Free falling back down to Earth I foresaw my eminent demise Fate had other plans for me An Eagle caught me just in time He held me with his black talons His feathers blowing in the breeze I felt like his little dolly swaying To and fro on a living trapeze He tossed me in a giant lake I landed with a splash The trout and bass came calling Trying to engulf my big fat **** I started paddling for the shore Avoiding all the hungry fish Damn Fate was mad at me But my end was not his wish I made it to the shoreline Just a few nips and bites And crawled up on the beach Where the kids were flying kites There I took a nap for I Was entirely tuckered out Poor Fate had lost his chance Thank God I am devout.

I love the imagination in this write, Kelli but unfortunately I do not believe in fate. I believe we control our own destiny by the choices we make.

If it works for you Daniel Turner. In my life Fate is an unequivocal force thrown at me through none of my choices except the will to survive my friend that is why I gave her/him identity.
