Farewell But Not Goodbye

Poetry Soup has lost some of it's lustre lately There are probably a multitude of reasons But it matters not what the reasons are For me personally it is no longer the fun site It once was when I first joined A number of my favourite people Have disappeared for one reason or another Personally, I've been posting less frequently Because of health issues I've been dealing with Nothing serious, just adjusting to some age related changes Bottom line though is I'm thinking That perhaps the time has arrived For me to shut down for a while I'm a lifetime member so at some time down the line My name may pop up again So it's farewell for now but not goodbye © Jack Ellison 2014

I hope that you won't be gone long..I haven't been as active for several reasons..My laptop died and I can't sit at the stationary computer for very long because of several reasons..We have a garden this summer and I have done some work pertaining to that but not very much for I am not able..The gardening started my hands to hurting and they just won't stop but I think that they might be better..Don't go just drop by..Sara

Ahhh... Had a contest on Fables... When you come back you might like to read the results... It was fun... Life is always changing. Dragon and I will miss you. Bet you could have written a great fable... If you ever do... Then let me know and I'll have another contest.... Dragon is anxiously awaiting any return you may make... Well, Jack. I'm new to the Soup so I do not know you well. I understand about the age related problems and I wish you well, my friend. WOW! Not surprised. I've visited your site daily so figured you'd lost interest or were unwell. I'll miss you FOR SURE! But I understand. Come back and give me a comment now and then. Things never stay the same. Most of those left aren't interested in my Dragon poetry. I only get honarary mentions and 8th to 10th place in contests. So I've started contests to find someone more like me. Fun. I guess I won't be able to contact you, Bummer... Your and Cathie's friends... Carol and Hubby.

Kenny...My feelings exactly. I'm sorry. This is the end of an era. It makes me so so sad. This used to be the best place...I find no heart to write....no heart to post...I'm broken.
