Farewell Amy Winehouse

Gentle child
Sweet angel
Heaven waits

Melody and Jazz were your life
Drugs and drink was your comforter
Sadness was your greatest weakness

No one understood
Sleep my angel
Take a look

Heaven calls
Today the stars are shining brightly
Pain, sadness, weakness, empty promises no more

Words reveal in songs
Answered prays
Stories unvale

Songs written by a bottle
Tales spoken from the heart
Music and songs made you untouchable

Sleep my child
Sorrow no more
Here is your lullaby

Here is your song
Darkness no more.

a really lovely and touching tribute to our camden girl, whose personal demons sadly kept pushing her 'back to black'...I wanted to write a tribute but no inspiration as yet, I don't think I could top this one anyway...
