Farewell
Farewell dear and trusted soul
One of integrity and great worth
May the angels sing as they receive you
Into His kingdom not of this earth
And at that hour He come to greet you
Take you into His loving arms
Promise your family though they need you
You're well and happy, safe from harm
What a joy you are to your Maker
Your life was full and richly spent
So much the giver, not a taker
The Lord is pleased how it all went
Oh the earth received your body
And the heavens receive your spirit
The world is better having known you
And your memory will always be within it
