Far Beyond the Starry Sky
Long ago, before the time, I could fly
In the weightless world of spirit, far beyond the starry sky
I used to soar in breathless beauty in the light
Never knowing my new life on Earth at the edge of night
Would carry me through chaos so that I could grow
Teamed with many, given power, now I know
The greatest hope and mystery in me
My decision, such provision, and now I see
I gained again what had been lost
I didn’t even know what it had cost
Now I rest in love again and once more I can fly
To my home in Heaven far beyond the starry sky
