Family
Family starts generations before
Some of whom have served in the war
Some are still here some are gone
But hear this love goes on
Your parents are the first you see
Perched up upon there crooked knee
Then siblings come into the mix
New best friends to pick up sticks
As you get older you meet your lady
And together you then have a baby
This is the start of your own tree
As you sit your baby next to thee
Tenderness love and understanding
Will give your children a good grounding
Love your children though everything
Even when they do sin
They are yours you can't deny
Give them love before they fly
It will help them in the end
The meaning of family is our best friends
