Fame
Amidst the glistening sunshine
Along the golden beaches
A place of fame and wonder
And of enormous riches
The long for certain accolades
To earn world-wide acclaim
For power that’s seductive
For life, that’s free of pain
But what is there awaiting
An existence that is false
Artificial affection
Becomes their daily role
The praise becomes alluring
But with them, comes a price
A lifestyle that is pressured
Their stardom is their vice
The artists, they continue to outdo themselves
Their mere sustainability
Becomes an earthly hell
They hide inside their mansions
Absorbed inside their own pain
Because everyone is only interested
In their wealth and their fame
They’re not even entitled to have some private moments
Because the paparazzi is surely somewhere roaming
So, let’s respect our artists
Their lives aren’t what they seem
Although on the surface
They look like splendid dreams
