Falling Leaves

As the Sun of new Rains begins to rise To help earth bury yesters under its guise Rustling leaves fly Down the trees Singing merrily With the breeze Knowing, its the last journey Still they come Swaying with pride Thinking not of the end But a new life Proud to be burried and transformed into dust To nurture a fresh spring from earthen crust

'...fresh spring from earthen crust,' ...a richly descriptive phrase. A splendid piece, detailing the demise of the deciduous leaf. BRAVO! Best wishes, Keith
