Fallen Angels

"Angels descending, bring from above echos of mercy, whispers of love." And that is the fallen angels lie. corrupted beings that will never die. Ruling the earth apart from God's throne. by enslaving humans, their evil has grown. Promising mercy, lust, riches and power, twisting souls as one, like Babels tower. Throughout history, again and again, they have sought the conquest and worship of men. Beyond the veil, they work, plot and scheme, planting seeds in our hearts to blaspheme. Building the New World Anti-Christ empire. Final earthly kingdom set for fire. For the "Fallen Angels" contest.

interesting writer you have here. I would like to point out, and please correct me if I am wrong; I have never found anywhere in the Bible where it is written that any angels whether 'fallen', or not, are immortal. Jesus was granted immortality and eventually many will be given this opportunity but as for other 'angels' they seem to have the ability to die or be done away with. Satan himself also heads towards this finality as stated in Revelations. I do enjoy a poem that makes one think...peace

As far as the "Set for fire" words in my poem are concerned. That is referring to the verses in 2 Peter 3:10-13, and in other places in scripture. Which state that this world will be destroyed by fire. Before God creates a new heaven and earth.

All humans whether saved or unsaved will be resurrected for judgement. They will both receive bodies that will never die. God created all spirits to live forever. Angels and humans. We cannot die. That's why angels and humans in the lake of fire will be there forever, likewise in heaven. Matt. 25:41, Rev. 20:10-15

This is a terrific read! Although Satan is called a fallen angel, I believe fallen angels are not mentioned in the Bible. The only mention of this is Luke 10:18. "I saw satan fall from the sky like lightning." I have to say, I do agree with you. Evil lives and breathes. I am grateful for a God who is greater. Blessings, Rhonda

I agree with you, Christopher. Was not trying to debate the issue. I guess one would call me a little naive when it comes to evil. I do know the Bible and the verses you speak of. I have put so much faith in God, I think it becomes hard for me to hear the other side. I do, however, love to have these open discussions. Blessings, Rhonda

"Fall" or "Fallen" theologically speaking is not about a physical fall. It is referring to a positional change in relation to God. When Adam sinned in the Garden it is called the "Fall of Man". Also when Lucifer the covering cherub, was filled with Pride, attempting to be as the most high God. He "Fell" from his position with God. Isa 14:12-15, Ezek. 28:13-19, Jude 6. Rev. 12:7-10 KJV
