Fallen Angel
Come be aware of a true tale,
Live a wise fare that does not fail.
I walk this earth with heavy heart,
A fallen mirth has graced my art.
I wander far from that high place,
Once a bright star, now face disgrace.
I see the truth as the light fades,
What good is proof except vain wade.
I am lost now: a spirit lost!
Can love endow or forfeit cost?
I wear my pride with sorrows high,
A broken ride has left sad sighs.
I am spirit that never dies,
What good is wit in fallen cry?
I am of light, fallen angel,
My dark pride sights a lost tangle.
I am beauty that once was pure,
Defiance won me this sad allure.
Too late for me but not for you,
To be set free, live love's fond due.
Man be aware of choice and will,
Love ever bares to fond appeal.
