Faith of a Little Child
Nothing can be stronger,
than the faith of a little child.
Whose belief in life’s magic
bad surroundings can’t defile.
In their hearts resides a wonderland
of peace and happiness.
Even though the world around them
may be an awful mess.
With a favorite friend or toy
the light of life comes on again.
Play in the realm of possible
becomes a trusted friend.
To believe there’s good somewhere,
even when you feel unsafe,
is a gift of God full measure,
in a blessing that’s called faith.
