Faith

The barren feed the barren, and empty hearts a like in manner seek to satisfy a sadness, stuck deep within the marrow of the meek. They blame the cheerful, and cast them far beyond their realm of consciousness, while coddling the joyless with sorrows that would spoil true happiness. Faith will master self-deception, reduce to ash the flame of ruinous self-interest, and sow the seeds of gladness once again.

Keith - I love this poem. We must always get back to the joyful. Thank you so much for your beautiful comment to "Goodbye My Darling." This was the depth of my sorrow, the saddest of all the poems I've written. I'm hoping to catch up on the Soup today. xxx's ooo's
