Fairies
Dancing between each raindrop falling from the sky
The heavens’ have opened, each crack, a thunderous sigh
This will not stop the colours spreading throughout the forestry
Each so bright throughout the trees, a work of art with no modesty
The little ones glimmer, each small spark with a lot of shine
The deer look around, their eyes a glaze with the sight so fine
The hibernating peep their heads to see this sight
They see the magic creatures that have taken flight
Ridding malice by the touch of their hand
People come from a far to see this sacred land
Seeing is believing when it comes to these strange things
Radiating sunshine like the seasons come, a multitude of springs
Their wings take them to places where needed most
When all is dark in the world, the fairies will travel coast to coast.
